pub enum SpiffeError {
WorkloadApiUnreachable(String),
EmptyResponse,
MalformedResponse(String),
GrpcStatus(String),
}Expand description
Error returned by the SPIFFE Workload API calls.
Variants§
WorkloadApiUnreachable(String)
The Workload API socket could not be reached (the SPIRE agent is not running, the socket path is wrong, or the connection was refused).
EmptyResponse
The Workload API returned an empty response (no SVIDs). The workload is not registered with SPIRE, or the agent’s workload selector does not match this process.
MalformedResponse(String)
The Workload API returned a malformed response (the protobuf could not be parsed, or the SVID’s certificate chain is invalid).
GrpcStatus(String)
The gRPC call failed (the Workload API returned a non-OK status). The message is the gRPC status message.
