SidecarConfig

Struct SidecarConfig

Source
pub struct SidecarConfig {
    pub enabled: bool,
    pub inbound_port: u16,
    pub outbound_port: u16,
    pub redirect_mode: SidecarRedirectMode,
}
Expand description

The resolved sidecar configuration: the listener ports and redirect mode the controller binds. Built from the config schema (MeshSidecarConfig) at compile time.

Fields§

§enabled: bool

Whether the sidecar is enabled.

§inbound_port: u16

The inbound listener port (traffic to the local app). Must be

0 and distinct from the outbound port.

§outbound_port: u16

The outbound listener port (traffic from the local app to remote services). Must be > 0 and distinct from the inbound port.

§redirect_mode: SidecarRedirectMode

The redirect mode (iptables REDIRECT or TPROXY).

Implementations§

Source§

impl SidecarConfig

Source

pub fn from_config(cfg: &MeshSidecarConfig, enabled: bool) -> Self

Build a SidecarConfig from the config schema. The redirect mode string is parsed here; an unknown value yields the default (iptables) – the config parser rejects unknown variants before this is reached, so this is a defensive fallback. enabled is inherited from the parent MeshConfig.enabled (the sidecar block itself has no separate enabled flag).
