pub enum LookupOutcome {
Serve(Box<Response<ProxyBody>>),
Miss(Box<MissFlow>),
Bypass,
}Expand description
What a lookup decided (DW-037): replay now, carry a miss to the store stage, or stamp a bypass.
Variants§
Serve(Box<Response<ProxyBody>>)
Fresh (or stale-within-window) entry: the replayed response, X-Cache/Age/Vary already stamped — the caller runs the decoration tail on it like any action response. Boxed: the other arms are pointer-sized and this variant carries a whole response.
Miss(Box<MissFlow>)
No usable entry: carry to the store stage. The caller may need
to inject the stored validator into the forwarded request (see
MissFlow::injected_inm).
Bypass
Request shape not cacheable: stamp and count only.
