pub enum CoalesceOutcome {
Lead(CoalesceLead),
Served(Box<Response<ProxyBody>>),
Solo,
}Expand description
What ResponseCache::attach decided for one cache miss (DW-038).
Variants§
Lead(CoalesceLead)
This request is the leader: run the fetch, then drop the guard (explicitly after the store stage, or implicitly on panic/cancel) to publish to followers.
Served(Box<Response<ProxyBody>>)
A leader’s stored outcome replayed for this follower: serve it
exactly like a lookup Serve (the decoration tail still runs;
x-cache: hit, Age stamped).
Solo
Coalescing made no claim (disabled, map saturated, or the follower fell back): run an independent fetch — the caller’s normal miss path, retries and all.
