pub struct PeakEwmaConfig {
pub decay_ms: Option<u64>,
pub default_rtt_ms: Option<u64>,
}Expand description
Peak-EWMA load-balancing tuning (DW-090, upstreams[].peak_ewma).
Only consulted when load_balancer: peak_ewma; ignored otherwise.
Fields§
§decay_ms: Option<u64>Decay tau in milliseconds (default 10 000 = 10 s). The EWMA weight
is exp(-td / tau) where td is the time since the last update.
A larger tau makes the cost track slow endpoints more sluggishly
(more stable, less reactive); a smaller tau reacts faster to
latency changes. Must be > 0.
default_rtt_ms: Option<u64>Initial cost in milliseconds (default 250). A fresh endpoint’s EWMA cost starts here (converted to nanoseconds) so the first picks have a reasonable baseline before any real RTT is observed. Must be > 0.
