Environment profile overlays config (DW-110, gateway.lifecycle.profiles).

Carries a base config (as a YAML string) plus per-profile config patches. The profile is selected via the DWARA_PROFILE env var; the selected profile’s patch is merged onto the base at load time.

Fields

base_config: String

The base config, as a YAML string. This is the config that applies when no profile is selected (or the selected profile has no patch).

profile_overrides: BTreeMap<String, String>

Per-profile config patches, keyed by profile name (dev, staging, prod). Each value is a YAML string merged onto the base config when that profile is selected.

profiles_dir: Option<String>

Directory of file-based profile patches (CFG-01, #180). When set, the selected profile’s patch is loaded from <profiles_dir>/<profile>.yaml instead of the inline profile_overrides map. Relative paths resolve against the config file’s directory. Takes precedence over profile_overrides when both are set.
