pub struct HmacAuth {
pub max_clock_skew_secs: u64,
}Expand description
Gateway-wide HMAC request-signing policy (DW-036). The credential
itself (key id + secret) lives on a consumer
(credentials: [{type: hmac, ...}]); this block carries the
VERIFICATION policy that applies to every signed request.
Fields§
§max_clock_skew_secs: u64Maximum accepted absolute difference, in seconds, between the
request’s X-Dwara-Timestamp and the gateway clock. A timestamp
outside the window is rejected 401 BEFORE any HMAC computation
(an expired window is not a MAC problem). The window is also the
replay window: nonces are remembered for twice this duration.
Default 300 (±5 minutes, the §4.6 recommendation); validation
enforces 1..=3600 (a sub-second window rejects every request
with any clock drift; an unbounded one pins nonce-cache memory
forever).
