gRPC-Web JSON transcoding configuration (DW-101, routes[].grpc_web.transcoding).

Supplies the .proto descriptor files that map HTTP/JSON requests to gRPC methods. Each descriptor names a file (a FileDescriptorSet in binary protobuf format), a package, and a service. At config publish the gateway loads the descriptors, resolves the service’s methods, and builds a method map keyed by the fully-qualified gRPC method path. The google.api.http annotation on each RPC maps an HTTP path + verb to the gRPC method.

Fields

enabled: bool

Master switch for transcoding. Default false: even when the transcoding block is present, transcoding is inert unless this is true. (Allows the descriptor list to be staged before activation.)

descriptors: Vec<GrpcWebDescriptor>

The .proto descriptor files to load. Each entry names a FileDescriptorSet file (binary protobuf format, as produced by protoc --descriptor_set_out=...), the package, and the service within that package. At least one descriptor is required when transcoding is enabled.
