Per-upstream circuit breaker knobs (DW-015). All fields default; a breaker: block with no keys enables the breaker with the defaults.

Frozen semantics (see the breaker module docs):

• The breaker gates the WHOLE upstream (all endpoints); per-endpoint ejection (DW-012) is an independent layer beneath it.
• It opens on consecutive_failures consecutive failures (5xx or transport) OR an in-window error ratio >= error_ratio once at least error_volume observations are in the 60 s window.
• While open, requests fail fast with 503 and a Retry-After header (seconds until half-open); in-flight requests complete normally.
• After open_ms a half-open probe (half_open_probes concurrent trials) closes the breaker on success or re-opens it on failure.

Fields

consecutive_failures: u32

Consecutive failures (5xx + transport) that open the breaker (default 5).

error_ratio: f64

In-window error ratio in (0, 1] that opens the breaker once error_volume observations exist (default 0.5).

error_volume: u32

Minimum observations in the 60 s window before the ratio is evaluated (default 20).

open_ms: u64

Cooling-off period in milliseconds before a half-open probe is admitted (default 30000).

half_open_probes: u32

Concurrent trial requests admitted in half-open (default 1).
