The version-skew policy, mirroring the CP/DP cluster_sync::VersionSkewPolicy but living in the config schema (so the gateway config carries it, not just the controller runtime).

Variants

Allow

Allow any version skew. The edge accepts the config regardless of version.

AllowMinorSkew

Allow skew within a minor version (e.g. 1.2.x can talk to 1.3.x, but not 2.0.x). This is the default.

RequireExact

Require exact version match. The edge rejects the config if its version differs from the controller’s.
