pub enum HashOn {
ClientIp,
Cookie {
cookie: String,
},
Header {
header: String,
},
}Expand description
What to hash for consistent-hash load balancers (ip_hash and
maglev). DP-07 (#236): extends the hash key source beyond the
client IP to support cookie-based sticky sessions and header-based
affinity.
Variants§
ClientIp
Hash the client IP (the default behavior, backward-compatible with pre-#236 configs).
Cookie
Hash a cookie value. If the cookie is not present in the request,
the gateway falls back to the client IP. Used for sticky sessions
without the services[].sticky split mechanism.
Fields
The cookie name to read.
Header
Hash a request header value. If the header is not present, falls
back to the client IP. Common for routing by X-User-Id or
X-Session-Id for session affinity.
