One variant of an A/B test (DW-086 ai.experiments.ab_tests.<name>.variants[]).

Fields

name: String

The variant name (for analytics/metrics attribution). Must be non-empty.

model: String

The model alias this variant routes to. Must reference an existing alias in ai.models that is NOT itself an experiment alias (no nested experiments — validation rejects it).

prompt: Option<String>

An optional prompt version reference in "prompt_name/version_name" format. When set, the named version’s system message is prepended to the request’s messages for this variant. Validation rejects a reference whose prompt or version does not exist.

weight: u32

Relative weight (>= 1). The deterministic weighted pick uses the same slot semantics as canary splits (ratios hold per request, and re-sending a request with the same id lands on the same variant). Validation rejects 0.
