One A2A agent (DW-114 ai.a2a.agents[]). The gateway routes a chat request to the agent by translating it into an A2A task-submit body and placing the call through the named upstream. The Agent Card (discovery doc) declares the agent’s capabilities and authentication; it is parsed at compile time.

Fields

name: String

Agent name; unique within the ai.a2a.agents list. Referenced by ai.models[].provider (the agent appears as a provider of kind a2a). Validation rejects empty and duplicate names.

url: String

The agent’s base URL (the A2A endpoint). Must be an http or https URL. The adapter builds the task-submit path under this URL.

card: Option<A2aAgentCard>

The Agent Card: a discovery doc declaring the agent’s name, description, version, capabilities, and authentication. Either a filesystem path to a JSON document (/path/to/card.json) or an inline JSON object. Validation rejects an inline card that is not a JSON object. The card is parsed at compile time (see ai::a2a::AgentCardParser).

upstream: String

Name of the upstreams[] entry that carries this agent’s transport (endpoints, TLS trust, pooling, timeouts, breaker). Validation rejects a reference to an unknown upstream.
