An Agent Card (DW-114): the JSON-LD-ish discovery doc an A2A agent publishes to declare its identity, capabilities, and authentication. Parsed from an inline JSON value or a file path by AgentCardParser.

Fields

name: String

The agent’s human-readable name.

description: Option<String>

A short description of what the agent does.

url: String

The agent’s base URL (the A2A endpoint).

version: Option<String>

The agent’s version string.

capabilities: Value

The agent’s declared capabilities (a free-form JSON object; the spec is not frozen, so the shape is preserved verbatim).

authentication: Value

The agent’s authentication declaration (a free-form JSON object; the spec is not frozen, so the shape is preserved verbatim). The gateway does not act on this today (the transport auth comes from the agent’s upstream config).
